Service Description

This is a private charter boat excursion and ecological tour of O'cock Oyster Farm on the Pamlico Sound side of Ocracoke Island. This unique eco-tour brings you directly to the oyster farm to learn about the benefits of local seafood. Your captain will lead you on an education journey in shallow waters to discover everything about the benefits of farming oysters in the outer banks, and what makes these tasty mollusks one of a kind. Your excustion leaves Silver Lake Harbor, giving you a brief historyof the surround areas. We anchor along the northeast edge of Ocracoke in shallow waters to explore the daily routine of oyster farming, sight see a variety of ocean species that are essential to the growing and harvesting of oysters. We then step out to a floating dock in the middle of the sound to sample some of the best oysters in the world.
